Fields and Flowers Fall Schedule of Events for 2010

2nd Annual Langley Artists Studio Tour
September 18, 19 & 25, 26 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Showcase of Langley artists as part of the self-guided tour of Langley studios: Tas Antonopoulos, Katherine Ragner, Marney –Rose Edge, and IRMA. Their paintings range from abstract contemporary oils and acrylics to realistic floral watercolours. We will also be sampling our farm preserves and new line of harvest cookies as well as artisan specialty chocolates. Enjoy the work of Joanne Carter, Mission Clay Works, and Madeleine.

The Fall trunk sale for Sweet Piece Jewelry is also scheduled for Sunday from noon to 4:00 Pm on September 26 with a sneak peak at her new line for fall/winter 2010.

A Benefit for The New Stride Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation - October 2 and 3 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Shop for everything but the turkey for your Thanksgiving table:

Heritage vegetables, local fruit, artisan breads, deep- dish pies, herbs, harvest flowers, cranberries, gourmet cheeses, garden preserves, cookies, teas as well as enjoy the original work of local artisans and artists. We are anticipating over 30 vendors for this event with “best of class” gourmet food, art, jewelry as well as pottery.

Two-dollar donation at the door to The New Stride Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation Monies raised help New Stride to care for and find suitable homes for these adoptable horses after their racing careers
